I am Seokyeong Choe , an artist who reconstructs and recombines various places and landscapes that I encounter in everyday life from an original perspective. Based on my subjective experiences in a specific place, I explore objective data on various elements that make up the space and unravel it with my own perspective. The landscape paintings I paint are not just recreating the facts in front of my eyes, but are the result of being reinvented through the eyes and hands of the artist. This process enables viewers to interpret from multiple angles and provides them with the space to stay for a while on the screen, just like an oriental painting's landscape paintings. My artwork aims to provide an opportunity for visitors to discover new perspectives through everyday and familiar landscapes.
